Digital travel platform Agoda is gearing up to celebrate World Tourism Day (27 September) with an exciting new campaign that not only gives travellers unbeatable deals but also presents valuable opportunities for hoteliers, airlines, and activity providers across Asia Pacific.
Running from 24 September to 8 October, the Agoda World Tourism Day Sale offers up to 60% off hotels, with flash sales of up to 70% on 27 September and 6 October, as well as exclusive flight and activity deals. Agoda VIP members will also enjoy early access to discounts from 21 to 23 September.
More than just discounts, this campaign is a strategic opportunity for partners to boost visibility and capture growing demand—especially as visa restrictions ease and travelers look beyond the usual tourist hubs. Agoda’s latest New Horizons list has already highlighted surging interest in emerging destinations like Chiayi (Taiwan), the Perhentian Islands (Malaysia), Cheongju-si (South Korea), and Siquijor Island (Philippines).
Andrew Smith, Senior Vice President, Supply at Agoda, shared “World Tourism Day is a reminder of the need to keep travel accessible and affordable for everyone. Across Asia Pacific, accommodation searches for emerging cities now account for over 30% of overall searches in the first half of the year. This campaign offers hoteliers in both major hubs and emerging cities the opportunity to connect with new audiences and capture demand through Agoda’s global platform.”
