Also, 10 new trains will run for the pilgrims as per the announcement made by Tourism and Culture Minister Usha Thakur. Reports have it that from September 17, 2022, coinciding with the birthday of PM Narendra Modi, five new trains of Tirth Darshan Yatra will also start running on the tracks, under which around 5000 senior citizens will be taken to different pilgrimages.
Apart from this, there is also a plan to run five more trains on November 1, 2022, on the occasion of the Madhya Pradesh Foundation. Referring to this, Ms Thakur stated that in this way, around 150 trains will start running on the tracks in the coming few months to facilitate pilgrimage travel of the senior citizens in the state.
Ms Thakur also added that Adiguru Shankaracharya had established four dhams, so that pilgrims are able to visit the four dhams and attain virtue. She also informed that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, started the pilgrimage and that he is committed to carrying forward the culture, for which the department is making all efforts to realise the said vision.
