Skål Diwali celebrations were made especially memorable by the presence of Sk. Venkat Reddy, President, Skål International India, whose participation added great significance to the evening.
The celebration reflected the true spirit of Skål – Doing Business Among Friends – with members coming together to celebrate the festival of lights, strengthen professional relationships and reaffirm their commitment to friendship, goodwill and unity within the global tourism fraternity.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of Sk. Sanjay Datta, who was recently conferred the prestigious title of Membre d’Honneur, one of Skål International’s highest distinctions awarded to members for their outstanding and distinguished service to the global Skål movement. Skål is immensely proud that this international honour has been bestowed upon a member of the Delhi Club.
Skål also celebrated the achievements of two distinguished Delhi members:
Sk. Ranjit Vig, IPP Skal Delhi on his election as Deputy Auditor, Skål International.
Sk. Greesh Bindra on his election as Vice President 2, Skål International India.
While the organisation missed the presence of Skal International President Elect Sk. N.S.N. Mohan, his warm wishes were conveyed to all members and greatly appreciated.
The evening concluded with the traditional Skål Toast, induction of new members, festive entertainment, and fellowship—beautifully reflecting Skål’s cherished motto, ‘Doing Business Among Friends.’
Plaques were conferred upon Sk. Venkat, Sk. Sanjay, Sk, Greesh & Sk, Ranjit. These presentations were particularly meaningful for Skål Delhi, as they celebrated the achievements and leadership of members who continue to uphold the values and international standing of the organisation.
Speaking on the occasion, the President of Skål International Delhi expressed gratitude to all the distinguished dignitaries, members, sponsors and partners whose presence and support contributed to the success of the celebration. The President reiterated Skål Delhi’s commitment to promoting friendship, fellowship, ethical business practices and meaningful engagement within the travel and tourism industry.
The celebration concluded with a delightful dinner, leaving everyone with cherished memories of an evening that beautifully combined tradition, recognition and the enduring spirit of Skål.
Skål International Delhi extends its warmest Diwali wishes to the entire Skål fraternity and the travel and tourism industry, wishing everyone prosperity, happiness and continued success.
