Singapore to host Southeast Asia’s first and only ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has partnered with HYBE to  bring ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ to Singapore from December 1 to 31, 2026, marking Singapore as the first and only Southeast Asian stop in 2026.

The largest island-wide fan activation ever  held for any recording artist in Singapore, ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE’ will build up  to BTS’ highly anticipated return to Singapore for their sold-out, four-night concert run at the  National Stadium on 17, 19, 20, and 22 December.

‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ is HYBE’s city-wide experience model that transforms the host city  into an immersive ‘BTS THE CITY’ experience across multiple precincts. Designed to run  alongside the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’, it extends the concert experience for fans by creating a multi-touchpoint journey through large-scale themed events and branded  installations.

First held in Seoul in March 2026, ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ has since been staged in just four  other cities — Las Vegas, Busan, London, and New York. Singapore marks the project’s first ever and only stop in Southeast Asia.

Through partnerships with some of Singapore’s most iconic tourism and lifestyle destinations,  Singapore will for the first time, roll out the largest coordinated, island-wide experience to  transform Singapore into the ultimate playground for BTS fans from around the world.  Partners include Jewel Changi Airport, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, National Gallery Singapore,  National Museum of Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa Development Corporation,

The Kallang Group, and Zouk Singapore — each presenting diverse and varied activations to  give fans the ultimate ‘BTS THE CITY’ experience.

Highlights include:

  • a themed light and music show at Jewel Changi Airport’s Rain Vortex; • a landmark-themed takeover of Exploria, a new immersive multimedia attraction at the  Mandai Wildlife Reserve;
  • an Art Trail at National Gallery Singapore, pairing BTS music with Pop after Pop: Art around  Us artworks;
  • themed light and sound installations at the National Museum of Singapore;  • a fireworks display choreographed to the music of BTS alongside other themed  experiences within Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa; • a rave and drone show set to BTS music, a themed race and immersive installations on  Sentosa Island;
  • interactive experiences across multiple themed zones at The Kallang;  • and opening and closing night takeovers at Zouk Singapore, featuring dedicated music  and experiential programming.

As part of the festivities, landmarks in Marina Bay and along the Singapore River will also be  lighting up each night in ARIRANG red from 8 to 22 December 2026, including Anderson  Bridge; Cavenagh Bridge; Clemenceau Bridge; Coleman Bridge; Elgin Bridge; Gardens by the  Bay; Millenia Tower; Ord Bridge; OUE Bayfront; Singapore Flyer; The Fullerton Hotel Singapore; The Helix Bridge; and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. Several of these nocturnal activities  are also set to inject fresh energy into Singapore’s nightlife scene, offering enhanced and  diverse options for both visitors and locals.

“This is the largest city-wide destination project we have collaborated on with a partner for any  recording artist, and we are proud to bring this exclusive experience to the region for the first  time. Hosting the Southeast Asian debut of ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ is a testament to our  ability to attract some of the world’s most iconic IPs, reinforcing Singapore’s position as a premier destination for world-class live entertainment. We look forward to welcoming BTS fans from across the world to Singapore this December,” said Mr Oliver Chong, Assistant Chief  Executive, International Group, STB.

‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE’ builds on STB’s strong partnership with HYBE and its  labels that began in 2024, spanning a range of initiatives including content creation for social  media, participation in events featuring prominent K-pop artistes, and music video  productions that have showcased Singapore’s iconic landmarks and attractions to global  audiences.

HYBE stated, “We are delighted to bring ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ to Singapore for its first-ever  Southeast Asian edition, marking the final stop of the project in 2026. With the support of the  Singapore Tourism Board, we look forward to extending the excitement of BTS’ concerts  beyond the stadium and bringing fans and visitors together through unique experiences  across the city. We hope ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE’ will offer fans and visitors  from around the world a special way to experience and celebrate the music of BTS and close  out the year together.”
