Designed to provide the travel trade with firsthand exposure to the resort and its distinctive experiences, the four-night programme showcased COMO Point Yamu’s approach to luxury through wellness, gastronomy, personalised service and immersive experiences. Set on Phuket’s secluded east-coast peninsula overlooking Phang Nga Bay and the Andaman Sea, the resort offers a distinctive perspective on Phuket beyond its traditional beach destinations.
The curated FAM itinerary brought together a combination of COMO Shambhala wellness experiences, culinary discovery, cultural exploration and island experiences. Advisors experienced a COMO Shambhala massage, yoga, sound healing and a beach walk, alongside dining experiences at La Sirena and Nahmyaa. The programme also included a Rang Yai Island beach getaway and a tour of Phuket Old Town, offering participants a broader understanding of the destination and the experiences that can be incorporated into bespoke itineraries.
The experience also provided advisors with an opportunity to undertake a detailed hotel inspection, while experiencing COMO Point Yamu’s wellness-led approach and culinary offerings firsthand. The resort’s La Sirena restaurant combines Mediterranean-influenced cuisine with COMO Shambhala’s healthful culinary philosophy, while Nahmyaa celebrates the flavours of Thai street food.
Through the FAM, COMO Hotels and Resorts and One Rep Global aimed to strengthen engagement with India’s luxury travel trade by providing advisors with direct product knowledge and a deeper understanding of COMO Point Yamu’s positioning for Indian travellers seeking wellness, experiential travel, culinary discovery and relaxed luxury in Phuket.
