
Air India, Adani Airports launch Online Duty-Free shopping platform
Air India and Adani Airport Holdings Limited have launched an integrated online duty-free shopping platform for international travellers. Available through Air India’s website and app, passengers can browse, pre-order and pay for products before travel, with collection at airport counters. Introductory offers provide savings of up to 25%, while Maharaja Club members earn three reward points per INR 100 spent on eligible purchases.
jüSTa Luxé Monsoon Palace to open in Udaipur on October 11
Onora Hospitality will open jüSTa Luxé Monsoon Palace in Udaipur on October 11, marking jüSTa’s fourth property in the city and eighth in Rajasthan. Located near Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, the hotel will feature 34 rooms and suites, Aravalli ARQ restaurant, spa and swimming pool. Event facilities include the 15,000 sq. ft. Raas Mahal and 40,000 sq. ft. Raas Bageecha lawn for weddings and corporate gatherings.
MakeMyTrip introduces Price Drop Protection for flight bookings
MakeMyTrip has introduced Price Drop Protection, a new feature that refunds travellers the fare difference if flight prices fall after booking. Available for domestic and international, one-way and round-trip journeys, the service aims to encourage early bookings while reducing fare uncertainty. Travellers can opt in during booking, with prices starting at INR 229 per person for domestic flights and INR 349 per person for international journeys.
Bhutan’s Black Mountain Festival returns to Trongsa on October 3–4
Bhutan will host the fifth Black Mountain Festival at Yid-Zhin Throm, Trongsa, on October 3–4, 2026. This year’s edition will expand through a Regional Highway Activation across all five gewogs of Trongsa, featuring community-led experiences, local products, cuisine, crafts and indigenous sports. The festival, themed “Trongsa Through Time: Celebrating Heritage, Creativity, and Community,” will also spotlight the Monpa community of Jangbi and the traditional Garp-Lung-Ghi Khorlo Bangjug cross-country race.
