The fourth in-person edition of ITB India brought the international travel industry together in Mumbai for three days of business, networking and knowledge exchange. A diverse community of exhibitors across India, South Asia and international travel markets showcased a wide array of products and services ranging from airlines, hospitality, DMCs as well as travel associations across India. International participation remained a key feature of this year’s edition, with exhibiting brands from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, Africa, Northeast Asia and South America represented on the show floor. Notable exhibitors included Columbia Pictures Aquaverse, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, IHCL, MakeMyTrip, Northern Lights Villages, oneworld alliance, Philippine Airlines, Sarawak Tourism Board, Seibu Prince Hotels & Resorts, Tokyu Hotels Japan, Visit Maldives Corporation and Visit Northern Finland.
Darren Seah, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific said, “ITB India 2026 has once again demonstrated the strong interest in India and South Asia as important growth markets for the global travel industry. One of the strongest pieces of feedback we received this year was the quality of the conversations taking place across the show floor. Exhibitors and qualified buyers came with clear business objectives, leading to focused discussions, new connections and opportunities for future partnerships. The strong international participation further reflects the confidence in these markets, while the ITB India Conference, Cruise Capsule and inaugural Leadership Roundtable created additional opportunities for industry exchange and dialogue. We are pleased with the momentum of this year’s edition and look forward to building on it in 2027.”
Sharing his experience as an exhibitor at ITB India 2026, Amit Shukla, Senior Vice President, My Partner, MakeTrip said, “The response was overwhelming over the last three days. We had the opportunity to meet potential buyers while also reconnecting with many of our existing partners. The audience was highly niche, giving us a chance to have deep, detailed discussions. The high quality of authentic buyers was impressive. Since we could spend quality time engaging with them, it made our meetings meaningful and worthwhile”.
Joyceline Wakiu from Gofan Safaris and Travel Africa said, “We are incredibly happy to be participating in ITB India 2026. We had a fabulous experience throughout the three days with strong visitor numbers and the incredible traffic on the show floor. We had meaningful networking opportunities and met some interesting travel trade partners, making the overall experience truly great. As a business company from Kenya, this event is going to create and unlock several new opportunities for us as we try to penetrate the India market. We look forward to receiving a good number of visitors and would be glad to welcome the Indian visitors coming to Kenya”.
