
Air India welcomes fourth Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of 2026
Air India has received its fourth line-fit Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of 2026, VT-AWD, marking another step in its fleet transformation. The aircraft underwent extensive inspections, flight testing and regulatory checks before entering service, with around 400–500 inspection points reviewed. The new Dreamliner features Bluetooth-enabled inflight entertainment across cabins, electronically dimmable windows and upgraded passenger amenities.
Lemon Tree Hotels adds 145 rooms in Bodhgaya
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed two new properties in Bodhgaya, Bihar, adding 145 rooms to its portfolio. Lemon Tree Hotel, Bodhgaya will offer 75 rooms, while Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels will feature 70 rooms. Both properties will include restaurants, banquet and meeting facilities, swimming pools and fitness centres. Managed by Carnation Hotels, the signings strengthen the group’s presence in the key pilgrimage and leisure destination in eastern India.
Tivoli expands Omnia Convention Gurugram with 112 new rooms
Tivoli Hospitality Group has expanded Omnia Convention by Tivoli in Gurugram, adding 112 rooms and doubling its banquet inventory. The property now offers 152 rooms, four banquet venues, four lawns, two poolside venues and six suites. New additions include Grand Ballroom II and Omnia Lumina – Glass House, strengthening Tivoli’s presence in the Badshahpur-Bhondsi belt and catering to rising demand for large-scale weddings, MICE events and social celebrations.
The Fern Hotels & Resorts launches The Fern Residency Thekkady
The Fern Hotels & Resorts has launched The Fern Residency Thekkady, Series by Marriott, strengthening its footprint in Kerala and South India. Located in Kumily, the hotel features 50 rooms and suites, Lemon Grass multi-cuisine restaurant, Cinnamon Coffee Shop and Saffron banquet facility. The property offers convenient access to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and major Thekkady attractions.
