
Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism partners with VFS Global
Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism has signed an MoU with VFS Global to promote Vietnam across key source markets, including India. The partnership will utilise VFS Global’s extensive global network and customer touchpoints to boost destination awareness. India continues to emerge as a strong source market, recording 0.75 million visitors in 2025 and 0.49 million travellers in the first half of 2026, reflecting steady growth.
Minor Hotels reports steady Q2 growth, expands portfolio
Minor Hotels has reported steady growth in the second quarter of 2026, with core profit of THB 2.8 billion (approx. USD 84.3 million) marking a 2% year-on-year increase, as continued strength in Europe & Americas helped offset disruption in the Middle East. The group also posted a 1% year-on-year increase in core revenue to THB 35.8 billion, while disciplined cost management helped lift EBITDA by 2% to THB 7.5 billion.
