Air India enhances Mobile App experience
Air India has introduced major enhancements to its mobile app, creating a one-stop platform for booking, payments, airport services, baggage tracking, loyalty management and AI-powered assistance. Developed by the airline’s in-house digital teams, the app features a faster booking engine, integrated ancillary purchases and an improved payment platform. It also provides contextual disruption support, including hotel accommodation and transportation assistance.
ITC Hotels to acquire Welcomhotel Ahmedabad
ITC Hotels has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 100% stake in GHK Hospitality and Infrastructures, owner of the 130-room Welcomhotel Ahmedabad, for an enterprise value of ₹155 crore. Located in Ahmedabad’s commercial hub, the hotel features 8,500 sq. ft. of banqueting space, a restaurant and rooftop pool. The acquisition, expected this quarter, will strengthen ITC Hotels’ owned portfolio and support demand from corporate, MICE, sports and industrial segments.
