Air India debuts first Line-Fit B787-9, resumes Delhi–Shanghai flight
Air India marked two major milestones in its international expansion. The airline’s first made-for-Air India Boeing 787-9, featuring newly redesigned custom interiors, entered commercial service on the Mumbai–Frankfurt route. Simultaneously, Air India resumed non-stop Delhi–Shanghai flights after nearly six years. Operating four times weekly with a Boeing 787-8, the service reconnects India with Shanghai.
