
Germany sees strong growth from Indian travellers
Germany continues to witness strong momentum from the Indian outbound market, driven by rising travel intent, improved air connectivity, and a shift towards immersive experiences. In October 2025 alone, Indian travellers recorded over 104,000 overnight stays, marking a 16.5% increase over pre-pandemic 2019 levels. From January to October 2025, India accounted for over 775,000 overnight stays, reinforcing Germany’s sustained appeal across leisure and business travel segments.
Marriott marks 200-Hotel milestone in India
Marriott International has inaugurated its 200th hotel in India, unveiling The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa in Rajasthan. The new 135-key property underscores the company’s strong expansion across the country, spanning 18 distinct brands and a robust pipeline of nearly 150 upcoming hotels. Senior Vice President, South Asia, Kiran Andicot, called the milestone a defining moment, reaffirming Marriott’s confidence in India’s hospitality growth and future opportunities.
AM Hotel Kollection opens second Foxtrail property in Gurugram
AM Hotel Kollection, a brand of LaRiSa Hotels & Resorts, has expanded its footprint in Gurugram with the launch of its second Foxtrail hotel. Located on Golf Course Extension Road, the 42-room upscale property features premium rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, and flexible event spaces. The opening complements the existing Foxtrail property in Sector 42 and reinforces LaRiSa’s focus on the upscale business-hotel segment in Delhi-NCR.
