Dr Poonam Rajput, Executive Director underscored that in an evolving global landscape, India’s MICE industry stands at a promising juncture. There is growing international recognition of India’s infrastructure, talent, and potential. This enhances ICPB’s continued commitment to excellence, collaboration, and collective resolve to promote & project India as a preferred MICE destination.

In addition to highlighting the accomplishments of ICPB’s inaugural training programme, he declared that the upcoming November session would concentrate on “Marketing India as a Convention Destination” and the bidding process.

In line with the Ministry of Tourism, Mr. Mansharamani reaffirmed ICPB’s dedication to aggressive marketing, advocacy, and upskilling in order to propel India into the Top 20 MICE destinations worldwide.
Mr. Neeraj Dhawan, Treasurer, ICPB stated, “So as part of the AGM that we incorporated today, ICBB has been making rapid progress in terms of promotion of conferences, exhibitions and incentive programmes in India. As part of the AGM, we were able to announce good results for last year, which has been a benchmark for us. And in terms of the promotion, I see we will be taking more and more action, more and more activities for promoting India as a MICE destination.”

In order to build a strong ecosystem for the MICE sector, the AGM emphasized the significance of cooperation between ICPB, the Ministry of Tourism, and state governments.
