
Air France-KLM has appointed Laure Daynié as the Country Manager for India and the Indian Sub-Continent, effective 1st September 2025. She will be based in the airline’s country office in Gurugram, overseeing operations across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka.
Laure takes over from Claude Sarre and will be responsible for further strengthening the overall presence of Air France–KLM in the region, with a focus on enhancing customer experience, driving high-yield revenue, reinforcing brand awareness, deepen the codeshare partnership with IndiGo and upholding the group’s commitment to sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
In Winter, Air France–KLM will operate upto 54 weekly departures across four key gateways: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, with Hyderabad being the most recent addition for KLM. Both airlines have been serving the Indian market for 70 years, reflecting a long-standing commitment to the region. Building on this strong foundation, Laure will lead the commercial strategy to further strengthen the airline’s footprint in India.
Laure Daynié holds a degree in Philosophy and began her career with Air France in 2001, starting in the ground operations department in France. Over the years, she has built a diverse and extensive career across both operational and commercial roles at Air France headquarters in Paris, various French regions, and international markets.
Her experience includes managing quality for the Americas region and leading customer projects at Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport and other French stations. She subsequently headed the financial division at Marseille Airport before overseeing Air France’s three Mediterranean call centers.
In 2018, Laure was appointed Country Manager for Senegal and later served as Country Manager for Lebanon and the Levant region until July 2025. During her tenure in Beirut, she also chaired the French Foreign Trade Advisors Committee.
In 2024, she was honored by the French government as Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite in recognition of her professional achievements.
As a strong advocate for women’s leadership, Laure has successfully navigated complex environments, bringing extensive experience across operational and commercial roles.
