ICC Aviation & Tourism Conference 2025 highlights Industry Vision for Viksit Bharat
The Indian Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the ICC Aviation & Tourism Conference 2025in New Delhi. Held under the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047: Transforming Indian Tourism for Global Excellence,” the event featured key leaders such as Shri Suman Billa, Vumlunmang Vualnam, Dr. Subhash Goyal and Chander Mansharamani, Vice Chairman, ICPB. Plenary sessions explored aviation, infrastructure, and MICE. Shri Omar Abdullah, CM, J&K was the chief guest on the occasion.
Accor to open Raffles and Sofitel Legend in Rajasthan
Accor and Sukhani Ventures have announced plans to bring two of Accor’s most storied luxury brands – Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Sofitel Legend – to Rajasthan. Raffles Ranthambore will be a 63-villa ultra-luxury resort residing in Ranthambore National Park and a mere 130 km away, Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur will be a 300+ key urban oasis in the Kukas Amer region of Jaipur. Raffles Ranthambore is expected to open by mid-2027 and Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur by late 2028.
Marriott Hotels debuts in Udaipur
Marriott Hotels has launched the Udaipur Marriott Hotel, marking its debut in the historic lake city. The 226-key hotel blends Mewar-inspired architecture with contemporary luxury. Facilities include Okra, an all-day dining restaurant, The Greatroom for casual meetings, Udaipur Baking Co., Opal Lounge, and a Quan Spa offering Ayurvedic therapies. Guests can enjoy a fitness centre, rooftop yoga, kids’ club, indoor games, and poolside relaxation.
Etihad welcomes its latest A350
Etihad Airways has welcomed its sixth A350 to its growing fleet. The state-of-the-art aircraft arrived this weekend following a successful delivery flight from Toulouse, France, further strengthening Etihad’s position as one of the airlines with the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets in the sky.
