“Pedal for a Purpose” is more than just a race; it’s a grand affair that brings together the entire travel fraternity of Pune and its surrounding regions. Participants, along with their families, will embark on a journey that is not only physically engaging but also socially impactful. The event is designed with three significant impact stopovers, each supported by prominent brands and hotels serving as venue partners.
Event Highlights
Stopover 1: Road Safety Pledge
Participants will stop to pledge their commitment to following road safety rules, promoting a safer Pune. After clicking pictures at the photo booth and enjoying refreshments, they will proceed to the next stop.
Stopover 2: Go Green Initiative
The second stop focuses on environmental conservation, where participants will pledge to plant trees and contribute to a greener Pune. Once again, participants will capture the moment and recharge before moving on.
Stopover 3: Reduce Plastic Use
The final stopover encourages participants to pledge to reduce plastic use, supporting efforts for a cleaner Pune. After capturing their pledge at the photo booth and recharging with beverages, participants will head towards the grand finale.
The event kicks off at 6:00 AM with participants collecting their badges, T-shirts, and cycles. The cyclothon will flag off at 7:00 AM, leading participants through a route that highlights key social messages. After completing the cyclothon, the celebration continues with a delectable breakfast, games, music, entertainment, a flea zone, and a B2B showcase, making it the ultimate travel fraternity celebration.

– 06:00 – 07:00 Hrs: Reporting, collection of badges, T-shirts, and cycles.
– 07:00 – 07:15 Hrs: Cyclothon flags off.
– 07:15 – 09:00 Hrs: Cyclothon with three impactful stopovers.
– 09:00 – 09:30 Hrs: Completion of the cyclothon and proceeding to breakfast.
– 09:30 – 11:30 Hrs: Facilitation, entertainment, flea bazaar, B2B showcase, and various activities.
