Travsie launches first-of-its-kind enterprise solution for Holiday Package Suppliers & Tour Operators

Travsie has announced the launch of its enterprise solution Travsie+. Travsie+ is a unique B2B SAAS solution geared towards tour operators & holiday package suppliers that digitizes their entire business workflow and value chain, and allows agents to view, customize listed packages with real time pricing and connect with multiple suppliers using Travsie+ without any platform fee.

November 22, 2023

Travsie+ branded SAAS solution can be deployed by holiday package suppliers, tour operators, and DMCs across their own travel agent network – and also integrates their inventory into Travsie’s marketplace and platform. The system’s added layer of ‘Integrated Holiday APIs’ further enhances experience for suppliers and travel agents, while delivering on multiple revenue and profitability scaling features. It automates suppliers’ business workflow, gives them a much-needed display window, and a seamless distribution channel for their products & offline services that feeds into a large travel agents market as well as other B2B channels – resulting in marketing and operational efficiencies, as well as digitization at minimal costs.

“With a broken, offline and slow supply chain for holiday package bookings that exists today, a scalable tech platform like Travsie fillsa critical need-gap – and has the right product-market fit. We launched our enterprise solution, Travsie+ after 18 months of groundwork with both travel agents and suppliers” adds Vikas.

Q&A with Vikas Khadaria, Founder & CEO, Travsie.

How did the idea of Travsie+ come about?
Since Travsie’s successful launch in 2022, we’ve had more than 40,000 customizations done by 8000 travel agents and suppliers, with a 25% query-to-conversion ratio. The insights from our data revealed that agents prefer to know who their holiday package supplier is, before paying the platform fee. To bridge this need gap and drive volumes, we engineered a solution from the supplier side – and created Travsie+ as an enterprise solution.
Travsie+ gives suppliers unrestricted access to the full-stack tech developed by Travsie, their own display window with branding and an automated product and services distribution channel to capture the mass travel agents market.
What are some distinct advantages of Travsie+
Travsie+ works on BCFR principles (Better, Cheaper, Faster and Reliable) between Suppliers and travel agents. It creates transparency between the two and standardizes the holiday package sourcing process.
So far, holiday package suppliers, tour operators and DMCs (Supply Side) work on emails and phone calls. That allows them the bandwidth to deal with only a limited number of travel agents. Suppliers also don’t have any customizable display windows and distribution channels for their products and offline services.
Travsie+ delivers all this for suppliers – an automated business workflow, a branded display window, and the ability to tap the larger travel agents market. We are also letting travel agents meet suppliers directly, without a platform fee to Travsie. With our Integrated Package APIs, we are enhancing their experience, driving marketing & operational efficiencies, and digital transformation at a near-zero cost.
On the travel agents’ side, they can discover a variety of products from our suppliers, with dynamic, real-time pricing within the shortest possible time. Not only this, they can ensure quality of service from suppliers, before making any commitment or paying any fee!

What makes Travsie+ so critical for suppliers and agents in the holiday ecosystem?
At Travsie, we believe that the B2B package sourcing opportunity is significantly large as the suppliers are completely offline. However, currently, the market works manually and is under-penetrated due to product complexity.
The holiday package booking process requires the integration of varied offline services, which intrinsically also have destination-based challenges. Travsie’s tech integrates these offline challenges into a unified digital workflow. This allows both suppliers (using Travsie+) and travel agents on Travsie to scale up in a capital efficient manner.
Scaling-up in the holiday packages market needs to focus on building a product that fits the market requirement & a model that is process & capital-efficient for everyone in the ecosystem hence.
Travsie+ seems like a one-of-a-kind solution for holiday suppliers – how do you intend to stay ahead of competition in the travel-tech market?
Our business model is truly globally unique, as we are democratizing the market and bringing transparency and digital transformation in a non-standardized holiday package market. In that sense, there is no direct competition to Travsie.
Additionally, we are making the existing offline process efficient – which will expand market participation. This expansion, in turn, will further help smaller agents grow and profit by leveraging a pan-India network of travel agents and suppliers on the Travsie platform.
This results in opportunities created for both small-tier players, as well as bigger established companies.
Finally, could you tell us more about your vision with Travsie? And the way ahead?
Our vision is to digitalize and democratize the holiday package business. We want Tier-IV city travel agents to have the same access to technology, content and pricing from suppliers that big OTAs have – and once successful in India, we want to make that model global.
We are confident in what we’ve created, and our vision. Travsie was recently recognized for ‘Best API Integrated Project of the Year’ award at the India DevOps show by Quantic India as well as ‘Travel Start-up of the Year’ at the Start-up 2022 Awards.
With Travsie+ launched and suppliers already adopting the solution – we are now looking scale up with the right kind of investment. In the short-term, we are looking to onboard 300 plus key suppliers from India, SEA & ME market by 2024, and our longer-term goal remains to take Travsie global by 2025, after streamlining the Indian travel agents market.
