Tourism Minister inaugurates renovated Helipad in Old Goa
Renovated Helipad at Old Goa was inaugurated today by Shri G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Tourism, and Development of North eastern region and Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant. The inaugural event was also attended by Union MOS Tourism Shri Shripad Naik and Shri Manohar Azgaonkar Dy CM of Goa, Legislators and senior officers from government of goa and government of India. The Helipad is developed as part of the Swadesh Darshan Coastal circuit theme.
OTOAI Team meets the new Turkish Ambassador
The office bearers of OTOAI – Outbound Tour Operators Association of India had a physical meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey, who has recently joined office. Undertaking all necessary precautions and following guidelines, OTOAI Team, led by President Mr. Riaz Munshi met up with His Excellency Firat Sunel, Ambassador, Turkish Embassy, New Delhi. The purpose of the meeting was to brush up the tourism relations between the two countries and restart travel to Turkey from India once again. H.Deniz Ersoz, Counsellor for Culture and Tourism, Turkish Embassy, New Delhi was also present on the occasion. Mr. Shravan Bhalla, General Secretary, OTOAI and Ms. Monia Kapoor, MC Member OTOAI accompanied Mr. Munshi on the visit.
Maldivian to commence direct flights from New Delhi to Maafaru & Male’ Airport, Maldives
Maldivian, the national carrier of Republic of Maldives, owned and operated by Island Aviation Services Limited (IAS) will commence direct flights from New Delhi to Maafaru and Male’ on October 21, 2021 and will be operating A321 & A320 on this route offering both business and economy class configuration. Currently the flag carrier of Maldives operates to Trivandrum, Cochin and to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bird Travels, the airline management arm of Bird Group is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for Maldivian and will be managing their sales and marketing activities in New Delhi. Flights on the new route, New Delhi to Maafaru, will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
