Stalwarts of tourism, travel trade professionals, NTOs, Rep Heads and Aviation leaders were all present in good numbers at the OTOAI Members Meet and Networking Dinner held at New Delhi. The main sponsors of the event were Tourism Mauritius and Expedia while the Partnering Sponsors included Air Vistara and Accor. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Ms. Rupinder Brar, outgoing ADG, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. In her address, she requested travellers to act responsibly when they are travelling international as they represent the image of India wherever they go. Mr. Riaz Munshi, President, OTOAI, welcoming all members to the evening, urged the audience and people in the travel trade to be prepared for the demand and challenges that will come their way in the aftermath of the pandemic and the way the industry has survived through it all. “Outbound travel was India is fast gaining momentum and I am confident that very soon we would be back to the pre-pandemic figures and doing even fetter,” he said.
