SriLankan Aviation College currently holds the approval of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA) and the Civil Aviation Authorities of Pakistan (PCAA) and Sri Lanka (CAASL) and has provided aircraft maintenance training for a notable amount of Pakistani aviation professionals over the years.
The college recently trained multiple batches of Airblue professionals, Pakistan’s second-largest airline with domestic and international flights at the SriLankan Aviation College premises; SriLankan aircraft maintenance facility in Sri Lanka and the PIA training centre in Karachi, Pakistan which the college’s instructors visited to provide the training. The training for Gerry’s dnata team, one of the world’s largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services, was conducted at the SriLankan Aviation College premises in Katunayake, Sri Lanka.

The world fleet is expected to more than double over the next 20 years with the addition of 37,400 aircraft.
