According to UAE Ambassador to India, Dr. Ahmed Albanna, Indian travellers with tourist visa or work visas will be allowed to enter into the UAE without too many restrictions during this period of time.
Further, the UAE has even put a mechanism in place for issuing visas to those wanting to visit the Dubai Expo. About 25 million people are expected to visit the Dubai Expo, as more than 180 countries take part in the event. The Ambassador also said that the timing of the Dubai Expo coincides with the 50th anniversary of the UAE.
UAE has also lifted other restrictions on the entrance of fully vaccinated residents from September 12. UAE has also allowed travellers from India, Bangladesh, Namibia, Vietnam, Uganda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, among others.
The Dubai Expo was supposed to be hosted in 2020, but got delayed due to the pandemic. The expo that is to start from October 1 is going to attract visitors and media from across the world. It is going to be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
