Radisson Hotel Group is accelerating global expansion in 2026, backed by strong owner confidence and rising demand for branded hospitality. In H1, the Group strengthened its footprint across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific through new signings, openings and brand extensions. Air India has been ranked the fourth most on-time airline globally in June 2026 by aviation analytics firm Cirium. The airline recorded an on-time arrival rate of 86.85% across 15,135 flights, with 86.23% on-time departures and a 99.7% completion factor. Polo Hotels signs Mizoram’s first 5-Star hotel in Aizawl
Polo Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Polo Hotel Aizawl, marking its entry into Mizoram and strengthening its Northeast portfolio. Developed under a PPP model with the Government of Mizoram, the project will redevelop Chaltlang Tourist Lodge into the state’s first 5-star hotel. The property will feature restaurants, a lounge, pool, fitness centre and the city’s largest versatile event spaces.
Malaysia Airlines adds Shenzhen and Changsha to China network
Malaysia Airlines has expanded its China network with new direct services from Kuala Lumpur to Shenzhen and Changsha, increasing its presence to nine gateways in China. The Kuala Lumpur–Shenzhen service commenced on July 1, followed by Changsha on July 8. Both routes operate up to seven weekly flights using Boeing 737-8 aircraft, offering travellers enhanced connectivity and flexibility between Malaysia and its second-largest international market.
