Seychelles Tourism Board reinstated, Vesna Rakić named CEO
The Office of the President has appointed Vesna Rakić as Chief Executive Officer of the reinstated Seychelles Tourism Board, effective May 15, 2026. The move follows the passage of the Seychelles Tourism Board Bill 2026, giving STB a renewed mandate to promote Seychelles as a premier sustainable tourism destination. Rakić brings over 30 years of experience in destination marketing, tourism development, partnerships and industry strengthening.
IRCTC upgrades Golden Chariot for 2026–27 season
IRCTC has announced upgraded features for the Golden Chariot luxury train ahead of the 2026–27 tourist season. The revamped train offers redesigned cabins, plush furnishings, smart TVs, Wi-Fi, enhanced safety systems, premium dining, lounge bar, spa and fitness facilities. The train will operate three South India itineraries — Glimpses of Karnataka, Pride of Karnataka and Jewels of South — with all-inclusive packages and promotional discounts for select departures.
