Mridul Chaudhry appointed Special Secretary & Director, UP Tourism
Mridul Chaudhry, IAS, has taken charge as Special Secretary & Director, Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Prior to this appointment, he served as District Magistrate of Jhansi. His new role is expected to further strengthen tourism development initiatives in the state, with a focus on infrastructure, promotion, and enhancing visitor experiences across Uttar Pradesh’s key destinations.

Lords Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a new boutique hotel in Lucknow, slated to open by end-2026. Located in Gomti Nagar near Shaheed Path, the property will offer strong connectivity to Ekana Stadium and commercial hubs. The hotel will feature well-appointed rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, banquet facilities, and a rooftop dining space, strengthening the brand’s presence in North India.
