Air India becomes first airline to launch flights to Halwara (Ludhiana) on 15 May
Air India has announced Halwara (Ludhiana) as its newest destination in India. Beginning 15 May 2026, Air India will operate two flights every day between Delhi and Halwara using its A320 Family aircraft and becoming the first airline to launch flights to Halwara. The flight schedule has been designed to offer same-day connectivity via Delhi to destinations across the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe, among others. Air India flights to Halwara are being progressively made available for booking across all channels and through travel agents worldwide.
VFS Global launches state-of-the-art Visa Application Centre in Odisha
To cater to the growing demand for visas in Bhubaneswar and the Odisha region and to further enhance convenience for visa applicants, VFS Global has announced the launch of its new, state-of-the-art Visa Application Centre in Bhubaneswar. This also marks VFS Global’s second Visa Application Centre in eastern India. The centre was jointly inaugurated by the honourable Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi and Ms. Yummi Talwar, Chief Operating Officer – South Asia, VFS Global.
