
The hotel is expected to open in 2029 following an extensive renovation and will operate under the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand. The signing aligns with IHG’s strategy to expand its presence across key urban markets in India.
Located in South Delhi’s Nehru Place, a major commercial hub, the property will feature 216 rooms and suites, multiple dining venues, and extensive meeting and event facilities, including a ballroom, meeting rooms, and outdoor spaces. Recreational amenities will include a spa, health club, and swimming pool.

Originally launched in 1996, the property was previously managed under the InterContinental brand before operating independently as Eros Hotel New Delhi. The rebranding marks its return to the IHG system.
IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands in India, with a pipeline of 89 properties, as it aims to significantly expand its presence in the market over the coming years.
