
The event featured a well-curated itinerary designed to strengthen professional ties and foster camaraderie among members of the travel and hospitality industry. The gathering provided an important platform for members to interact, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
One of the key highlights of the programme was a large-scale plantation drive, during which more than 500 trees were planted. Each tree was dedicated to different chapters of SKÅL International India, symbolising a collective commitment towards sustainability and environmental responsibility.
As part of the initiative, a membership drive was also conducted among the hoteliers of Pahalgam, further strengthening and expanding the SKÅL network in the region.
The programme included two evenings of engaging SKÅL activities, highlighted by a grand gala dinner, hotel visits and meaningful interactions among members and local stakeholders. The gathering reflected the spirit of SKÅL’s global tagline, “Doing Business Among Friends.”
During the visit, members of SKÅL International Kashmir held detailed discussions with local hoteliers regarding tourist footfall and market trends. They also exchanged views on important aspects such as room tariffs, amenities and guest services. These interactions were appreciated by all stakeholders and are expected to contribute positively towards improving tourism experiences in the destination.
