The programme will begin with flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, a senior officer from the Border Security Force’s Gujarat Frontier at the level of Inspector General or Deputy Inspector General. This will be followed by the flag-off of a bike rally, marking the formal start of the Republic Day activities at the site.
Cultural performances scheduled through the day will showcase regional and national traditions, while multiple engagement activities have been planned to ensure visitor participation. A magic show has been included to engage tourists, particularly children, along with an interactive game zone curated by Kreeda Games. A fancy-dress competition will also be organised, encouraging families and young visitors to take part in the celebrations.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a live performance by a professional artist, to be finalised closer to the event, will form part of the daytime programme, drawing crowds and sustaining footfall at the border site throughout the day.
The evening segment will shift focus to the ceremonial core of Nadabet with the BSF parade, one of the key attractions of the Indo–Pak Border experience. The parade will highlight the discipline and traditions of the Border Security Force, reinforcing the national significance of the location.
The Republic Day celebrations will conclude with vibrant Garba performances, bringing a strong Gujarati cultural element to the event and transforming the border setting into a collective space of celebration.
Speaking about the initiative, Vishram Singh, General Manager, Nadabet, operated by Lallooji & Sons said, “The intent was to make Republic Day at Nadabet accessible and engaging for citizens. The event, they said, reflects the growing role of Nadabet as more than a border viewing point, positioning it as a destination where national history, cultural identity and public participation come together.”
Located about 239 kilometres from Ahmedabad, the Nadabet Indo–Pak Border has emerged as a key tourism site in Gujarat, drawing visitors seeking both patriotic and experiential travel.
