#First Opinion
“2025 was a transformative year for global travel, driven by travellers seeking deeper, more meaningful experiences. We saw a strong rise in slow, immersive exploration, hyper-local discovery, and wellness-driven retreats, alongside a clear preference for eco-certified stays. Soft travel gained traction with more travellers taking trips for self-discovery and mental wellbeing, embracing digital detoxes and even sleep tourism. Technology played a vital role, making AI-assisted itinerary planning standard, while “Noctourism” brought new momentum to after-dark cultural circuits and stargazing. Looking ahead to 2026, we remain committed to investing in technology, deepening supplier partnerships, and advancing AI-powered, hyper-personalised travel solutions.”
