Al Hamriyah Beach
A beloved choice for families, Al Hamriyah Beach offers soft white sand, a lively environment, and well-planned amenities including playgrounds, restrooms, and ample parking. It also became the first beach in Sharjah to be officially recognised for accessibility for people with disabilities. This achievement stems from trained beach staff and facilities developed in accordance with World Disability Union (WDU) standards.
Visitors can enjoy strolling, sunbathing, relaxing, or engaging in sports such as football and volleyball.
Khorfakkan Beach
Stretching three kilometres in a distinctive crescent shape, Khorfakkan Beach is a popular escape for both residents and tourists. It offers a wide range of water activities such as diving, fishing, parasailing, kayaking, and boat rentals. The palm-lined shore and clear waters make it ideal for families, with swing sets and football goals available for added enjoyment.
The refreshing coastal breeze enhances the experience, while adventurers can explore deeper waters near Shark Island, a short boat ride away and a prime spot for snorkelling and diving. At one end of the beach lies the Oceanic Resort and Spa, offering a complete seaside retreat. Many guests choose to stay overnight to witness the spectacular sunrise over the sea.
Al Heera Beach
Al Heera Beach, stretching 3.5 kilometres along the Arabian Gulf, is Sharjah’s longest coastline and one of its most vibrant. Its wide shore is perfect for sunbathing, scenic walks, and a mix of recreational activities.
The beach includes dedicated jogging and cycling tracks, sports courts, children’s play areas, and Kota Skate Park — Sharjah’s first professional skate park designed for skateboarding, scootering, roller skating, and BMX. A dedicated pump track for young children ensures added safety and fun.
Divided into three zones with six units each, Al Heera Beach features a marina, a waterfront promenade, diverse restaurants and cafés, and a yacht marina that can host more than 100 vessels. Landscaped gardens and uninterrupted sea views further enhance the visitor experience.
