In a significant development for Uttarakhand’s hospitality landscape, Ashok Arora, Partner at Ashoka Leisure Valley LLP, has announced the upcoming launch of Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Jim Corbett Kotabagh, a 100-room upscale hotel expected to open in the third quarter of 2027. The property will feature well-appointed guestrooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, stylish bar, expansive lawns, and a modern banquet hall, catering to both leisure and business guests. The property is being developed in collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Summit Hotels & Resorts has announced its formal entry into the luxury hotel market with the launch of its flagship brand, The Summit, in Siliguri. Scheduled to open in May 2027, it is a 100-room property, that features the largest banquet facilities in Eastern India, capable of hosting up to 2,000 guests and managing 10 simultaneous events.
