Air India to suspend Delhi–Washington, D.C. flights from September 1, 2025
Air India will suspend Delhi–Washington, D.C. services from September 1, 2025, due to operational factors, including a fleet shortfall as 26 Boeing 787-8 aircraft undergo retrofitting until late 2026, and ongoing Pakistani airspace closures impacting long-haul routes. Affected passengers will be offered rebooking or refunds. Customers can still reach Washington, D.C. via Air India’s U.S. gateways—New York, Newark, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Royal Orchid Hotels has signed a 70-key Regenta Hotel near Bhopal Airport, marking its expansion in Northern India. Located just 1 km from Raja Bhoj International Airport, the business hotel features four suites, three conference rooms, a rooftop bar and restaurant, spa, pool, and gym. Developed under the brand’s asset-light model, the property aims to cater to modern business travellers and MICE clientele while boosting tourism in MP.
