India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the public sector undertaking under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, today conducted its 54th Annual General Meeting at the Group’s flagship hotel property, The Ashok, New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Shri Piyush Tiwari, Chairman and Managing Director and Director (Commercial & Marketing) of India Tourism Development Corporation.
The Board of Directors present at the meeting were Sh. Piyush Tiwari, Chairman & Managing Director & Director (Commercial & Marketing) ITDC; Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Director (Finance) & CFO, ITDC; RK Chaturvedi, IAS, F&A and Govt Nominee Director; Meenakshi Mehta, DDG, Ministry of Tourism; Paragbhai M. Sheth, Independent Director, K Padmakumar, Independent Director and P.C Agiwal, Statutory Auditor.
Following are the highlights from 54th AGM Address of C&MD to the shareholders on company’s performance during 2018-19:-
Ø The Corporation closed the year once again with the remarkable performance. The turnover of the corporation during the Financial Year 2018-19 stood at Rs. 371.72 crore as against Rs. 366.42 crore in the Previous Year 2017-18 (As per Ind AS).
Ø The Total Comprehensive Income (TCI) has been recorded to Rs. 43.93 crore as against TCI of Rs. 13.22 crore in the previous year 2017-18, a jump of 232.29%
Ø The board has recommended a dividend of 21% amounting to Rs. 18.01 crore approximately as compared to 18.5% amounting to Rs. 15.87 crore in the previous year.
