MoT participates in World Travel Market (WTM), London
The Ministry of Tourism is participating at WTM with a delegation of almost 50 stakeholders including State Governments, inbound tour operators, airlines and hoteliers. The focus of this year`s India pavilion is Wedding Tourism, MICE and Mahakumbh. A special mock Mandapam in the Pavilion has been created to give the look and feel of an Indian wedding. Ms. Mugdha Sinha, DG Tourism is heading the delegation.
Evoke Experiences unveils Rann Utsav 2024
Evoke Experiences has announced that the Rann Utsav 2024 – The Tent City, will begin on November 11, 2024 in Kutch, Gujarat. For the first time, Evoke Experiences will not only operate and manage The Tent City but will also oversee the market, branding, and entertainment services at the renowned Rann Utsav. This year’s event will feature over 400 luxurious tents and around 50,000 guests.
Madhya Pradesh CM launches ‘Moh Liya Re’
On Madhya Pradesh’s 69th Foundation Day held recently, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav launched a TV commercial titled ‘Moh Liya Re’, created by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. The ad, featuring actor Pankaj Tripathi, highlights the state’s landscapes, cultural heritage, and historic sites. The commercial is expected to bolster MP’s global appeal and entice more tourists to visit the state.
Moscow focussed on growing its MICE Ambassadors network
A new stream of the Moscow MICE Ambassadors online certification program was launched by The Moscow City Tourism Committee on June 3, 2024 and successfully completed on November 1 by 200 professionals from India’s MICE industry who received their certificates. Notably the course is still available for specialists joining the program later.
