Air India unveils new domestic in-flight menu
Air India has unveiled a specially curated menu for its domestic passengers with effect from October 1 to coincide with the onset of festive season. The new Air India in-flight menu, featuring an assortment of gourmet meals, trendy appetizers and decadent desserts, showcases India’s locally sourced culinary influence. The menu also incorporates exquisite renditions of regional specialities from the kitchens and streets all around the world to satiate the global palate. At the same time, utmost attention will be paid to ensure that the array of delicacies are healthy and stay hygienic, right from the kitchen to the tray-table. AZAL to operate direct flights from Mumbai to Baku from November
Azerbaijan Airlines, the flag carrier of Azerbaijan intends to commence its direct flights between Baku and Mumbai – the commercial hub of India from November onwards. The airline will operate twice-a-week flights between Mumbai and Baku. Azerbaijan Airlines has started ticket sales for flights. Zeal Global Group- the exclusive partner of the airline in India, has confirmed this expansion of Azerbaijan Airlines. The airline has already been operating flights from Delhi to Baku twice a week since August and is now delighted to start direct flights from Mumbai too. Mumbai travellers can now reach Baku in just four hours to witness the picturesque beauty of Azerbaijan.
Kashmir gets its first electric train
Kashmir recently got its first electric that made its debut on the Banihal-Baramulla corridor, thereby replacing the diesel engine run train. Officials in the know-how stated that the environmentally friendly electric train will start operations on the 137km long Banihal-Baramulla corridor soon and that the trial run of the train from Banihal in Jammu division to north Kashmir’s Baramulla district had been conducted last month by the railway authorities. Reportedly, the total project cost for the electric rail link is 324 crores.
